Coalition Entertainment is a full-service entertainment firm with a focus on Talent Buying, Festival & Event Operations, Artist Relations, Event Staffing, and Brand Consulting. We are a team of passionate creatives, operators, and analysts, using real-time data and best practices to deliver world-class experiences. CE has booked, produced and promoted more than 2,000 events including festivals, conferences and shows at arenas, theaters, casinos, and clubs across the U.S, Mexico, Asia, and Canada.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Our internship program offers current students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain relevant experience at a seasoned, live music and events company. Interns will work alongside our team of talent buyers and producers and learn the ins and outs of live music curation, event staffing and production, artist relations, and more. Interns will have the opportunity to support a variety of projects and see first hand what it’s like to work in the live music business.
This internship is remote and, therefore, our interns will need to have their own computer and internet access.
THE WORK
We try to give our interns as many hands-on assignments as possible. The day-to-day responsibilities for interns include the following:
Build target lists of prospective artists and conduct talent and market research on new and upcoming artists.
Manage internal show files to ensure all files are present and up to date by day of show, including but not limited to, artist contracts, riders, and W-9s.
Assist with researching new business opportunities and potential client targets based on industry trends.
Draft offers, update grids, and support various data entry assignments.
Support our festival advancing and artist relations operations.
This is not a complete list and other projects and assignments will come up throughout the duration of the internship.
SCHEDULE
We ask all interns to commit at least 2-3 full days per week (8 hours per day) for 3 months. Our standard business days are Monday – Friday.
We try to align our internships with the start of each quarter, but that’s more of a loose guideline and not a requirement.
Your exact schedule and start date will be discussed during the interview process. We are flexible and will work with you on your exact schedule.
